Martha's Vineyard Museum

The Martha’s Vineyard Museum is the primary charitable affiliation of this non-profit festival.

The Martha's Vineyard Museum provides an excellent resource for island history through its museum, library, and educational programs. Exhibits, collections, archives and publications can all be viewed at the Museum's campus in the heart of downtown Edgartown. Visitors are able to experience the island's seafaring and farming past and learn of the Wampanoag Native American tribe and European settlement. The mission of the Martha's Vineyard Museum is to inspire interest and understanding of the island's unique history, culture and physical characteristics by collecting, preserving and presenting relevant materials and information to visitors, summer and year-round residents. The museum is located two blocks south of Main Street at the corner of School and Cooke Streets. www.mvmuseum.org
